Commission Terms of Service

Summary for non-commercial commissions:

• A quote will be provided to the client prior to invoicing and commencement.
• Payment will be made by the client through PayPal via invoice unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Payment must be completed by the client prior to commencement and delivery of the final artwork.
  • A deposit must be paid prior to commencement of any artwork.
  • Full payment must be completed prior to commencement of any work beyond an approved sketch.
• Works in Progress (WIP) and final artwork sharing rules will be agreed upon prior to commencement.
• If the deadline agreed upon before the commission is not met, the client has the right to refund.
• All artwork commissioned cannot be used for artificial intelligence (AI) or non-fungible token (NFT) purposes of any kind.

Standard non-commercial commission Terms of Service:

Scope:

The scope for the entire commission project is the aggregation of the scope for each individual art piece within the project. Each art piece within the commission project will be individually scoped.

Timeline:

The timeline for the entire commission project will be scheduled by agreement between the Artist and the Client. The priority and duration assigned to each art piece will be decided within the scope of each art piece.

Licencing:

The Artist agrees to give a the perpetual non-exclusive license of all rights (including, but not limited to, the right to display, modify, and transmit) work developed under the scope to The Client, excluding the right to transfer, sell, upload as create derivative works, and authorship credit, which are retained by The Artist. Neither the Client nor the Artist may use the commissioned piece in association with any form of artificial intelligence, including but not limited to generative artificial intelligence software systems, or non-fungible tokens in any form. The Artist may only post any work in progress or final artworks at a mutual time agreed with the Client prior to payment.

Payment:

Payment must be completed by the client prior to commencement and delivery of the commission project. For each art piece within the commission project, a deposit payment representing the initial cost of to produce a sketch for the art piece is required before the Artist will commence work on the art piece. For each art piece within the commission project, full payment must be received for the art piece is required before the Artist will commence working past an approved sketch.
